Thank you for considering Knaresborough Kitchens for your new Kitchen/Bedroom/Home Office. We believe that the whole process of purchasing from us should be an enjoyable one from the initial design to final completion. Hopefully you have been pleased with the service you have received from us to date - so much so that you unreservedly recommend us to your family & friends!
We pledge to give you our best price from the start based on what is included in the project and the budget you have given us. Within that best price we will include any discounts from ourselves or any promotional support from our manufacturers. We also promise to ensure our appliance prices are internet competitive.
Now that you have your proposals we trust that you will favour us with your instructions and allow us to extend our services right through to the installation and completion of your new Kitchen/Bedroom/Home Office. If you do, and on receipt of your deposit, we also pledge to do the following:
Prepare and submit full working details of your new Kitchen/Bedroom/Home Office.
Confirm an installation/delivery date with you.
Our Office Manager Janet will contact you to arrange a full Technical Survey by our Installations Manager Mick.
In the week preceding the installation we undertake to contact you to confirm the start date/time and to receive any miscellaneous instruction from you - for example access, keys, alarm codes, pets or any other matter you wish to draw to our attention.
We undertake to fully respect your property during the time that we are in your house and to this end we will cover vulnerable surfaces and walkways with dustsheets or some other form of protection, keep doors closed to limit the spread of dust and debris, and dispose of existing fitments/waste responsibly with full regard to the size and location of a skip.
We will be on site continuously during each working day from the start of the installation to the day of completion. However, there may be occasions where the fitter is absent to allow other trades to progress (for example, plastering, plumbing or electrics). In the event of any unavoidable incident that might cause delay, we undertake to contact you immediately to make you fully aware of the situation and its consequences.
Our Installations Manager (or his deputy) will contact you at various times during the installation to give you the chance to pass on any comments you may have as the work progresses. Your designer will also be available should you wish to discuss anything with them.
We undertake to advise you at the very earliest opportunity if the agreed specification needs to be varied for any reason. We will give the reason for the variation and if relevant, any alteration to the contract price. Furthermore, we undertake to put this in writing within 24 hours.
On completion of the installation we will arrange a meeting with you on site to inspect the finished project and make sure you are happy with everything before payment of the final balance becomes due. Should there be any remedial snagging or after sales requirements, we undertake to respond to these without delay.
Finally your designer will contact you to arrange a visit to have a look at the finished project in all its glory!
