Case study - Chris & Jan Shepherd

This set of images shows Chris & Jan Shepherds’ kitchen which was installed in August 2009. They had strong ideas about what they wanted - a modern, clean and light kitchen. They chose a gloss stone slab door with sapphire brown granite work surfaces, Neff appliances, an Elica Star extractor and plenty of lighting.

David who designed the kitchen recalls “Jan & Chris liked the idea of an island but weren’t sure whether it would work in the space. With careful planning and a very receptive customer I feel the whole kitchen has worked extremely well.’’

Jan says of the experience “we are very pleased with the way the kitchen has turned out. David listened to our ideas and didn’t impose his own too much but has made sure there is a place for everything, right down to the last detail. The kitchen is designed around the fact we do a lot of cooking and I feel now everything is close by so you’re not making any wasted journeys across the kitchen. The icing on the cake was the induction hob which we find a joy to use. The tradesmen were reliable, considerate and very hard working, all in all we’re thrilled.’’
