The Knaresborough Kitchen Company is run by David & Lynda Dalglish and son Matt and we pride ourselves on great design, competitive prices and friendly customer service. The business was started 15 years ago in Knaresborough and now has further showrooms in Otley, Thirsk and a concession at Peter Maturi’s in Leeds. Despite this growth we remain very much a passionate family run operation.

Over the last 15 years we have built up a product range to suit all tastes and budgets and are proud of the fact we have something for everyone, from a fully fitted contemporary curved kitchen to a sink and a length of worktop. Says Director Matt Johnson ‘we look after every customer that comes into one of our showrooms and whether it be for a traditional bespoke kitchen at the top end of the market or a ready to assemble kitchen that will compete with any national supplier on price, we will give them the same personal service and attention to detail.’

In line with the expansion of the business our team has also grown over the years to now include 4 designers, an Office Manager, an in-house delivery team and a dedicated Installations Manager who has been with the business since the beginning. We can take care of everything including initial building work, plastering, fitting the new kitchen or bedroom and finishing off with tiling and even decorating, meaning a one stop shop. This total project management and continuity of supply and service means your new kitchen or bedroom is installed with the minimum of fuss.

‘Most of our business now comes from the fact that after 15 years people know we’re here and trust us, added to the fact we get a lot of recommends from previous happy customers. For increased peace of mind we’re also proud members of the Kitchen, Bedroom & Bathroom Specialists Association which offers a deposit protection scheme and means we are constantly vetted for the quality of our service and installation standards,’ David explains.
