Case Study - Julie & Graham Bowlands

This set of images shows Julie & Graham Bowlands’ kitchen which was installed in February 2010. They came with a specific brief - a contemporary look which was both functional and practical and easy to clean and maintain. The designer Jason guided them towards a gloss stone slab door complemented with 60mm Black Brazil laminate work surfaces, a full range of Neff built-in appliances and a wine cooler, for Graham’s extensive collection!

Jason recalls ‘‘Julie enjoys cooking for her large family so I incorporated two single ovens into the design and sold her on the benefits of cooking using an induction hob - quick, efficient and easy to clean! I also designed a seating area, to make the kitchen more social.''

Julie says of the experience “We are ecstatic with our new kitchen. We have been using it for a few weeks now and it has become the real social hub of the house - when we have guests over we all congregate in the kitchen whilst we cook and enjoy a glass of wine. It’s everything I hoped it would be… and more!’’
